If the emerging adults in your family have arrived in France at a later stage of the French schooling system, have never quite settled with the different teaching styles or aren't confident enough with their French language skills to fully achieve their potential at BAC, we are offering them the opportunity to study for and take their GCSE and A-Level exams, here in France with the guidance of experienced teachers following the UK curriculums. This opens up new opportunities for young people hoping to study in the UK, or anywhere else in the world!
We are currently offering programmes of study in the following subjects : English, English Literature, Maths, French, History, Art, but we also offer pre-GCSE courses for children aged 12 and up who are intending to take a GCSE in the future, or who want to continue their education at the same level as their peers in the UK.
Lessons take place on Saturdays and Wednesdays for students who are continuing their French education and are taking one or two GCSEs to supplement this.
The lessons will be delivered in various ways to include a weekly online tutorial, with a student forum to promote critical peer assessment, a weekly class and workshop and a half-day workshop at the end of each half-term.
The IGCSE is accreditted by Edexcel Qualifications and is a brilliant preparation for further education to A-Level stage. The IGCSE encourages learner-centred and enquiry-based approaches to learning. It develops learners' skills in creative thinking, enquiry and problem solving, giving learners excellent preparation for the next stage in their education. Assessment is carried out at the closest certified test-centre, which is at an affiliated school in the Dordogne. Call us on (0033) 0546 32 38 99 for more information
